Experienced advice and guidance professional helping young people navigate various life barriers

I am a dedicated, dependable and self-motivated professional with eight years’ experience in working in advice and guidance, as well as seven years working in youth justice previously. I have a strong background in supporting and empowering adolescents and adults, and I work confidently with people from diverse backgrounds. I currently hold a caseload of 60 individuals with various barriers to progress. In my work, I create support plans based on confidence building, motivation, life skills, interview preparation and overall progression. I provide clear advice, guidance and some elements of life coaching, connecting individuals with the appropriate specialist services where necessary. Through the use of various tools, and assessment techniques, I am quickly able to understand each person's needs and adapt my approach to suit their learning style. My teaching and coaching style is supportive, structured and encouraging, helping learners build self-esteem, understand concepts clearly and make steady, meaningful progress.
