English Tutor for students of all ages SAT/ACT/GCSE/GENERAL STUDIES

I have been tutoring for 5 years, helping students with testing and general studies to improve their grades, confidence in English, and succeed in their education! I offer online tutoring sessions that are tailored to your schedule and needs. I am studied in English Language, Literature, Childhood Learning, and the main exams such as SAT, ACT and General Exams. I teach mostly to help pass exams, and raise grades under a schools curriculum however I can aid in English practice for language learners or help with correcting and proofreading important papers, essays, and thesis to help you succeed! For Adults (16+); I like to start with a consultation and a set up of what you are expecting of me and what you want to learn, followed by a personal study plan and then at least 1 hour a week for each session with me so that I can make sure you are taking in everything. The lessons will be tailored to your needs and expectations and will be structured so that progress can be visible within a few weeks with regular sessions. For Children (Under 16); My method is to have a few consultations with parent and child, know the child's recent grades in English and have some of their recent assignments to get a grasp of where they are and where they need to be, followed by a personal tailored plan and at least an hour a week with me in order to see progress. It is important to have a lot of practice when it comes to any learning as repetition is key to information retention. I normally do a once a month check in with parents to talk them through progress and anything else that needs to happen at home. More sessions for each group a week will yield the best results, you don't get progress without work put in! For Adults (16+), I charge £13 for one hour sessions, and for multi-hour sessions I charge £10 per hour. For Children (Under 16), I charge £11 for one hour sessions, and for multi-hour sessions I charge £8 per hour. Prices are negotiable, I am friendly and open so don't be shy to reach out!
