Chemistry tutor with a Biochemistry background specialising in GCSE and A Level support

I'm a final-year Biochemistry student at King's College London, having achieved a grade 9 in GCSE Science and an A in Chemistry at A Level. My degree gives me a deep, up-to-date understanding of chemical concepts, from foundational reactions right through to more advanced topics students encounter at A Level. I tutor Chemistry at GCSE and A Level, focusing on building both technique and genuine understanding rather than rote memorisation. I start by identifying where a student feels confident and where the gaps are, then structure lessons around closing those gaps efficiently, using practice questions, past papers, and clear step-by-step explanations. My approach is patient and encouraging. Many students find Chemistry challenging because it combines maths, logic, and abstract concepts, and my goal is to make it feel manageable by breaking things down clearly and connecting theory to real, tangible examples. Students leave each session not just with the right answer, but a clearer sense of how to get there independently next time. I teach online and am flexible with scheduling. Whether you need focused exam preparation or want to build stronger foundations from scratch, I tailor sessions to what will help you most. Get in touch and let's talk about your goals!
