Brazilian Portuguese Teacher | Portuguese for Foreigners | PLE | Spanish Speakers

Hello! My name is Elisane, and I am a native Brazilian Portuguese teacher with a degree in Languages and Tourism. I specialize in teaching Brazilian Portuguese to foreigners and have experience teaching adolescents, young adults and adults, both online and in language schools. My lessons are communicative, dynamic and adapted to each student's level, goals and learning needs. I encourage students to speak Portuguese from the very first lesson and use real-life situations, videos, music, news, cultural topics and practical activities to make learning meaningful and engaging. I also speak Spanish fluently, which is a valuable advantage when teaching Portuguese to Spanish-speaking students. I understand the main difficulties they may face, particularly with pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, false cognates and differences between Portuguese and Spanish. This allows me to provide clear explanations and personalized strategies to help students progress with confidence. Teaching Experience I have experience teaching Portuguese as a Foreign Language (PLE) in online classes, working with students from different backgrounds and levels. My teaching experience includes: Brazilian Portuguese for foreigners Portuguese for Spanish-speaking students Online one-to-one classes Conversation and speaking practice Grammar and vocabulary Pronunciation Listening, reading and writing Lesson planning and personalized activities Creation and adaptation of teaching materials Student assessment and progress monitoring Brazilian culture and everyday communication My Teaching Approach My goal is to create a comfortable and motivating learning environment where students feel confident using Portuguese. I adapt my lessons to each student's objectives — whether they want to communicate better in Brazil, travel, work, study, prepare for a new experience abroad or simply become more confident speaking Portuguese. I believe that language learning should be practical, communicative and connected to real life. Why Learn Brazilian Portuguese with Me? As a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker and an experienced language teacher, I can help you develop not only your grammar and vocabulary but also your confidence in real communication. If you speak Spanish, my knowledge of both Portuguese and Spanish can make your learning process even easie
