Biology tutor using a calm and relaxed approach to better your understanding of tricky topics

I am currently a PhD student studying neurogenetics and dementia. I have a variety of teaching experience from GCSE students, to undergraduates and master's students! In my spare time, I create educational videos on tiktok and instagram to an audience of over-people and have discovered my passion for helping people to understand complex topics! I love to use analogies to make tricky science information more digestible. I have also made videos for Alzheimer's Research UK and my university, UCL. In our first lesson, I want to spend time learning about the areas you struggle with, and coming up with a plan together of how I can best help. After this, I want our lessons to be a two-way conversation - not just me lecturing you. Tell me when you don't understand something and we will work on it together until you do! Answering exam questions becomes much easier once you understand the topics, rather than memorising mark schemes. If this sounds like a good fit, please do get in touch!
