Award-Winning Researcher and PhD Candidate | Expert in History & Politics | Personalised, High-Impact Lessons

I am a PhD candidate and experienced tutor with a deep passion for teaching and helping students succeed. I specialise in History, Politics, and the Social Sciences, offering tutoring that draws on my experience as a researcher, policy analyst, and advocate. Recognised on the University of Sydney Honours and Prizes Roll, I was awarded First Class Honours for my thesis, which combined rigorous research with real-world insight. My background also includes experience in policy and advocacy work – skills that inform the way I teach and help students connect what they're learning to the wider world. With years of experience tutoring high school and university students, I take a personalised, student-centred approach that focuses on building confidence, curiosity, and critical thinking skills. Whether you are preparing for exams, working on assignments, or just trying to keep up in class, I will meet you where you are at and guide you from there. I design each lesson around your specific goals – no cookie-cutter worksheets, no generic lectures. My approach blends: - Critical analysis of primary and secondary sources - Socratic-style questioning to deepen understanding -️  Essay structure and writing mastery - Time management and study strategies - Exam preparation and assessment planning. For high school students, I provide support with a focus on syllabus alignment and success under timed conditions. For university students, I offer assistance with coursework, referencing, academic writing, and research planning. Each session is interactive, responsive, and tailored to your evolving needs. Many students work with me long-term as they see consistent improvement in results – and confidence.
