I am an artist and educator with 30 years specialist teaching experience in Printmaking and Mixed Media Art & Design, at the University of Arts London - UAL

Sean is an exceptionally talented teacher who always finds an individual approach to every student. My daughter and I have been very fortunate to work with him over many years. What I particularly value is that any idea is carefully considered and the best way to bring it to life is always found. The atmosphere in Sean’s lessons is consistently warm and encouraging, with plenty of room for experimentation, artistic exploration, and the development of creativity under his thoughtful guidance.

Sean was a great art tutor and helped me a lot with my portfolio last year. He gave really useful advice on curating and organising my projects, provided detailed feedback on multiple versions, and helped me understand the specific requirements for UAL. He also suggested artists and references to explore, which helped me develop my ideas further and think more deeply about the concepts behind my work.

Seán is an incredible teacher and gave me great support with my portfolio when applying to university. I struggled mainly with the layout and getting my thoughts across clearly on each page wich is something we worked on together. Along with that I got plenty of incredible advice about interesting events or exhibitions to visit to further expand my knowledge of artists.
