5+ Years Tutoring Experience | First Class BA/Distinction MA | IB HL English Lit 7

I’m an English tutor with a particular interest in helping students engage critically in both reading and writing. I use my academic training, alongside more than five years of tutoring experience, to design lessons that develop strong, independent thinkers and confident writers. Lessons are always tailored to the student’s level, interests, and goals, and may focus on: Essay & Dissertation Coaching: from refining questions/arguments to submission. Research & Planning: structuring essays, building arguments, finding sources. Literature Review & Critical Analysis: engaging with texts/viewpoints, and integrating sources effectively. Writing & Editing: Improving clarity, structure, academic tone, and argumentative flow. Proofreading & Academic English: Precision, coherence, grammar, and professional presentation for both native and non-native speakers. UCAS & Postgraduate Applications: Personal statements, research proposals, and interview preparation.
