Practicing Artist and RCA Graduate with Teaching Experience, Enhanced DBS Check, Safeguarding and ARTiculate (BAAT) Training

I offer personalised online mentoring for art and design students, applicants and emerging artists. While I work with a wide range of ages and experiences, I predominantly support BA and MA students, university applicants, and artists developing independent creative practices. My approach is student-led, supportive and exploratory, with a strong emphasis on experimentation, self-expression and developing an individual creative voice. I encourage process-led ways of working where curiosity, play and critical thinking are valued alongside technical development. My students have received offers from leading institutions including the Royal College of Art, Edinburgh College of Art and London College of Communication. I can support you with: - Portfolio development and sequencing - BA/MA application preparation and statement writing - Understanding contemporary art practice and critical thinking - Coursework, project development and written work - Traditional skill-building and mixed-media experimentation - Professional development and sustaining a creative practice - Creative wellbeing support and guidance (ARTiculate trained) Specialisms include: - Colour, composition and visual language - Mixed-media processes and the use of secondhand/found materials - Pattern, repetition and sensory making - Freeform constructed textiles - Play, experimentation and process-led research - Journalling, self-expression and reflective practice Get in touch to discuss your goals, current projects or portfolio.
