I'm a native Cantonese and Mandarin speaker who grew up immersed in Chinese language and culture and spent years living in China.

My approach is communicative and practical: I get students speaking and listening from the very first lesson, because using the language is the fastest way to learn it. I balance the four core skills — speaking, listening, reading, and writing — and I introduce grammar and vocabulary gradually and naturally so they always feel manageable.
