Biology tutoring for Key Stage 3, 4, GCE, and University with a PhD researcher

I am currently PhD researcher with extensive private-tutoring experience in sciences over 6 years. I teach 1-to-1 sessions and provide a tailored learning environement for each student. My teaching philosophy entials: - Prioritising filling underlying knowledge gaps from previous years before tackling current assignments. - Guiding students to discover answers through targeted questions rather than simply lecturing or giving them the solution - Focusing on reducing subject anxiety and building self-reliance so the student eventually no longer needs a tutor. Session Structure: 10 minutes reviewing last week, 30 minutes on new concepts, 20 minutes on homework/test prep.
