UCL MSc in Engineering, GCSE Maths and Physics Tutor
Advert description
Hi, I'm Alex! I have a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, and I studied Higher Level Maths and Physics for A-Levels, so I know these subjects well and enjoy explaining them. I tutor KS3 and GCSE students in Maths and Physics.
In our first lesson, we'll work out what you already know and where there may be gaps. From there, we'll build up from the basics one step at a time, using worked examples and exam-style questions, and I'll show you how to set out your working clearly so you pick up marks. I'll also show you where maths and physics are used in the real world, from heating and energy to wind turbines and buildings, because topics make more sense when you can see why they matter.
You can expect a patient, friendly and organised tutor who will explain things as many times, and in as many ways, as it takes. Questions are always welcome, and my goal is for you to leave each lesson feeling more confident than when you started.
