IELTS Trainer and Examiner with over ten years experience

I’m an all-rounder, having taught a wide variety of ages, nationalities and levels over the years (15 in total) in a range of settings, but my speciality is in the field of IELTS - I spent 5 years teaching IELTS at tertiary level and have held IELTS examiner status for the British Council (Writing & Speaking Tests) for a number of years. In addition to this, I’ve also taught business English, EAP and ESP courses in both online and classroom formats. I particularly enjoy teaching speaking classes and I’m a competent teacher of pronunciation. I enjoy free-flowing classes with lots of interaction and I have the ability to strike up a good rapport with my students. Having said this, I also have strong classroom management skills and the ability to keep students on task when necessary. I have a BA in Modern History, a CELTA and I am currently studying for an Oxford Trinity Diploma in TESOL
