I have a background in music making on computers but I had never learnt an instrument and from the very beginning, Gabriel has been very patient and has cleared some of the myths about playing the piano. I'm very impatient by nature and Gabriel has been able to make me slow down to learn proper technique first, making sure I don't get injured playing, before jumping to more advanced stuff. I'm only 5 lessons in but I can already see I'm getting better, so I would definitely recommend this to beginners!

Gabriel’s teaching style is really impressive, the flow and the content of every lessons are very good and he has 4 CAMERAS that shows his face, keyboard and his view on a sideways so any student can visualize the proper posture and a clear view of the movement of his arms and fingers as he teach. My daughter is only 7 years old and as you can imagine asking her to sit for 1 hour to learn piano is quite a challenge but Gabriel handles it pretty well, and he is understanding of my child’s playfulness during the class and he knows also when to remind her to focus. Gabriel has an impressive amount of patience and knowledge about piano that’s why my daughter Ameco is enjoying and learning so much from him. I’m very happy we found him on Preply. Gabriel quickly gauges your level and adapts the lessons so you’re working on exactly what will move you forward. Every session feels practical and grounded: he doesn’t just talk theory, he gets you playing and applying it immediately. He has a clear, structured way of explaining things, but also the patience to repeat and refine until it clicks. You always leave a lesson with something concrete to practice and real progress under your fingers.

He can give good guidance to my children and improve their skill. My children loved his lesson too much and got the levels in a short period.

Gabriel L exceeded my expectations with incredible sound quality and impeccable attention to detail. Working with him was a delight – he communicated proactively and truly has a deep understanding of music. Highly recommend! ?

He's a great tutor! Learning piano with him is fun and engaging. If you're looking for someone to be slow and carefully explain to you concepts, this is the person to go to. He spends a lot of time with articulation and how you shouldn't press on the keyboard, but engage your fingers -- something very important for pianists. I never knew that prior to having lessons with him, he's very impressive and clear with his instruction! Great tutor, you won't regret signing up with him!

He is so great. We like him because of his enthusiasm and his encouragement and very patience with my son.

Gabriel put a lot of preparation into the lesson. He me some sheet music before hand including scales and some exercises to go through during the lesson. He ensures that he understands your goals at the beginning of the lesson so he can tailor the lesson to your expectations. He is able to ascertain your level of playing quite quickly and your weak spots and knows how far to push you. I've had one lesson but will be signing up for regular classes with Gabriel.

Gabriel has been teaching my daughter piano online while she is preparing at around Grade 5 level, and the experience has been excellent. His lessons are well-structured, engaging, and very focused on building strong technique while keeping the sessions enjoyable. He explains musical concepts clearly, gives constructive feedback, and assigns thoughtful practice work that helps maintain steady progress between lessons. Despite the classes being online, he manages to keep them interactive and productive, and my daughter looks forward to every session. We’ve seen noticeable improvement in her confidence, technique, and musical understanding. I would highly recommend Gabriel to anyone looking for a dedicated and professional piano teacher.

Gabriel has a warm and engaging teaching style balancing encouragement and affirmation with technique, discipline, and rigour to create a rich learning experience. The lesson follow ups are helpful and provide clear lesson take away for practice focus and improvement. What I enjoy most from the lessons is the interweaving of musicality and sensitivity of the pieces with technique and articulation, so the music comes alive with feeling and spirit.
