I have extensive experience teaching and mentoring students at all levels, from GCSE and A-Level Biology to undergraduate and postgraduate courses. My goal is to make biology engaging, understandable, and applicable, helping students develop both confidence and competence in the subject. I enjoy guiding students to grasp key concepts, think critically, and solve problems effectively. I also provide tailored support for exam preparation, coursework, laboratory reports, and dissertation projects, ensuring that lessons meet each student’s individual learning needs and goals. Whether it’s understanding the fundamentals of cell biology or exploring advanced topics in marine ecology, I focus on clarity and practical understanding. Subjects I can help with include: GCSE & A-Level Biology: cell biology, genetics, ecology, human biology, evolution, and more Undergraduate & Postgraduate Biology: marine and freshwater ecology, environmental science, zoology, research methods, and statistics Academic support: dissertation, thesis, and lab report guidance My tutoring approach is interactive and structured, incorporating examples, exercises, and practice questions. Students learn to apply concepts, not just memorise facts, which is essential for success in exams and research projects. Lessons can be delivered online or in-person, with flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends. I am committed to creating a supportive and motivating learning environment, helping students achieve their academic goals while fostering a genuine understanding and appreciation of biology.
