Seven years spent in a recognised, award winning Recovery Social Enterprise aiding the recovery of those in active addiction looking for change and growth. Three years implementing and overseeing a pilot NHS service, incorporating a mental health pathway, offering social prescribing, into the alcohol ward in Royal Liverpool Hospital. The last year spent helping people with SMI's into mental health support and employment. All through that time, a dedication to my own mental wellbeing and growth, and currently on level 4 counselling qualification. Over ten years speaking with people 1-2-1 and in groups assessing how they move forward through difficulty. A person centred approach and philosophy, motivational interviewing. When needed, recommendations and a directive approach, with goal setting and outcomes.
