Giuseppi is one of the most patient teachers I have ever had. His approach to teaching makes one feel excited and encouraged to learn. He will always go above and beyond in order to ensure his students understand each concept thoroughly before moving on and rushing through the syllabus. He is the reason I enjoyed all my Mathematics lessons and tests.

very friendly, outgoing, experienced and thoughtful teacher. definitely one of my best and a teacher you can always rely on !

He is the most caring teacher I have ever known. He is the best thing that has happened for both my kids, and still is approachable at anytime. Their lives were greatly enriched by Guiseppi.

I’ve known Giuseppi since 2015 when I was in high school. He taught me in 2016 and 2017 in Mathematics where I struggled tremendously and almost failing. Once or twice a week depending on the week due to my sports he would do extra lessons with me where he would walk me through all the steps of certain formulas to make sure I understood each and every step. I wasn’t the easiest to teach and wasn’t quick to pick up on certain elements of the subject but his patience with me was spectacular. He refused to move on until I fully understood what was required of me to complete the sum until it was correct even if it took the full hour. After numerous lessons my grades started to pick up a tad to the point I wasn’t almost failing the subject but passing. (This was a massive improvement) Not only was he an amazing teacher but had all the time in the world regardless of the subject and always willing to help where and when he could. I would recommended him to anyone and everyone as he

An excellent teacher and amazing person who helped me get my marks up to where I never thought they could be. Math was never easy for me but by keeping it simple and making the subject more conversational and pushing me to work when i needed it math became more easy and my marks noticeably increased.

mr mactavish ( Giuseppi ) was my teacher at Hillcrest High school in South Africa, in Grade 9, i had private lessons with him and he was an exceptional tutor for maths, especially as a student who struggled with maths, he helped me to motivate myself - as well as giving me lots of past papers and revision to practice, i am now a grade 12 student getting exceptional marks in Maths lit, and a lot of those skills came from mr mactavish’s hard work and dedication on helping me. i would recommend him to any future student who is looking to excel in Maths.

I am one of Giuseppi’s past pupils. I had never had a tutor that was able to captivate me in such a way that for the first time I looked forward to a lesson in my learning career. Giuseppi customised his teaching approach to me and my needs as I’m very ADD, he helped captivate me in his teachings and was thorough to make sure I understood the topic at hand without moving on. To have a teacher that is passionate, highly intelligent and takes pride in not only there ability to teach, but also to create a personal connection between pupil and tutor is a very special thing to have. I would highly recommend Giuseppi to anyone and everyone as he is beyond amazing with his work.

Mr Mac Tavish is an excellent teacher and tutor. His lessons are extremely helpful. He explains in a way you’re able to understand, and will ensure you are comfortable and happy with a topic before moving on. I would highly recommend having Giuseppi as your tutor !

Mr Giuseppi MacTavish is an amazing educator. He manages to explain very complex mathematical problems into simple solutions that one can grasp. As well as if you can’t understand it the first time, he always manages to explain the same thing over and over again in many different ways. This attributes to his patience and determination towards his students. He also inspires us in many ways outside of the classroom and always pushes us to strive for excellence. My favourite mathematics teacher of all time.
