I give private lessons to beginner students of all ages on the saxophone

I can guide you through the first steps of taking up the instrument all the way through to professional standard with in person or online lessons. I can guide you through ABRSM and Trinity graded exams in Jazz and Classical saxophone, as well as ABRSM Music Theory grades all the way to grade 8 on all exam types. I currently maintain a 100% distinction rate for all pupils taking graded exams. However, if you prefer to learn without grades, I have plenty of experience tailoring lessons to suit your individual needs. I teach all ages, having much experience working with kids and the elderly in music centres across West Yorkshire, and I have an advanced DBS due to this work. My favourite thing to do is give my students lots of influences and resources around the saxophone to keep them inspired and wanting to learn; I pride myself in my skill to keep students engaged this way, as there is so much to discover about this instrument. I am flexible and will work with you to arrange a recurring session per week, and I offer my first lesson for free as a taster. I look forward to studying with you!
