GCSE English and History Examiner. Entrance exam tutor

Over the past twenty years I have taken on many roles that involve working with children and young people of differing ages and abilities. These included Teacher, Tutor, Mentor, Sports Coach, Foster Carer and Parent. These experiences have provided me with an excellent understanding of the development of children. This, along with my commitment to children’s education, has advanced me towards becoming an Outstanding Educator. I have experience of teaching all the year groups in primary and secondary education; this has including the Early Years Foundation Stage. I qualified as an Advanced Early Years Teacher and have gradually worked my way upward. This experience has given me a greater knowledge of children’s learning styles and the transition from each Key Stage. I adapt my teaching to accommodate the year group, making sure the delivery is age and ability appropriate.
