Experienced English Tutor | PhD Researcher | Supportive Lessons in Literature, Language & Writing

Hi there! I’m an English tutor and current PhD researcher in English Literature, with several years of experience teaching and supporting students at both school and university level. I offer tutoring in English Language, English Literature, Creative Writing, and Academic Writing for GCSE, A-Level, university students, and adult learners. My lessons are tailored to your needs: whether that’s exam preparation, building confidence in writing, understanding literature more deeply, or learning how to express your thoughts clearly. I take a warm, encouraging approach and aim to make learning enjoyable, inclusive, and meaningful. As someone who has taught seminars at university and worked with young people from a range of backgrounds, I understand how important it is to create a safe and supportive space to ask questions and grow. I use creative materials and everyday examples to explain key concepts and help you engage critically and confidently with texts. Whether you’re looking to polish your essay writing, unlock the magic of poetry, or explore your own creative voice, I’d love to help. Let’s work together to meet your goals and enjoy the process along the way!
