Math teacher teaching students to all ages

I am writing to express my strong interest in the advertised teaching position at your esteemed school. With over 15 years of classroom experience in UK-curriculum international schools—including my current role as a Primary Mathematics Teacher at The Lahore Grammar School International—I bring a deep understanding of the British education system, a passion for student-centered learning, and a proven ability to raise pupil achievement through inclusive and engaging instruction. I hold a PGCEi level 7 (equivalent to Masters) from Canterbury Christ Church University (UK) and am well-versed in the UK National Curriculum, Cambridge Primary and O Level frameworks, and Key Stage 1–3 planning and assessment along with PYP and MYP framework. Throughout my career at The City School and now at LGS International, I have successfully led Mathematics teaching across a diverse student body, integrating ICT tools, critical thinking through dialogic questioning, and differentiated strategies to meet the individual needs of learners. My commitment to safeguarding is backed by my CACHE Level 2 certification (UK), alongside multiple CPD training in child protection, anti-bullying, and inclusive education. I actively contribute to curriculum planning, staff training sessions, and co-curricular events, and am recognised for creating a warm, high-expectation classroom culture where students feel valued and challenged. Relocating to the UK and joining a forward-thinking school like yours aligns with my personal and professional goals. I am confident that my international perspective, strong subject knowledge, and ability to collaborate effectively with pupils, staff, and parents will allow me to contribute positively to your team.
