Native Italian tutor with 8y experience offering structured and personalised lessons

My methodology is structured, but I easily adapt to students' styles and preferences. 99% of the students who come to me want to learn how to talk to people, so I am used to this request. I help them achieve this by ensuring that they know their grammar inside and out, and by supporting them with their speaking alongside it. The more we build on the grammar, the more we can build on the speaking, simultaneously. I have dozens of presentations that I use as a starting point for all students. These have been tried and tested over the many years I have been teaching, and are constantly updated reflecting students' feedback. They are grammar-heavy to start, and include more and more speaking tasks and comprehension tests as we go along. Most slides also have audio recordings to support pronunciation. The activities vary based on the level the student is in and build up smoothly. My course is not for the faint-hearted! To succeed, you must be truly committed to this learning journey, and have a fair amount of discipline and consistency. I usually recommend 1h a week with me and one doing homework, which is achievable in my experience. Join many other motivated students and finally see results!
