English tutor EAL, 11+, GCSE and A level

Hi, I studied English at university, and I am now a PGCE Secondary English trainee. I have experience teaching 11+ Maths and English, GCSE and A-level English. I wasn't always the best at English. I actually had to redo my Year 9 EOY English exam. However, things changed when I was in Year 10, and I got full marks in all my English papers. This continued to A-level and university, where my love for English led me to become a secondary school teacher. The results didn't come naturally, but slow progress is progress. I believe all my students can do it! I speak English, Mandarin and Cantonese. I create individual learning plans for each student, tailoring their lessons to their progress and targets. I create and assign bespoke homework based on the lesson, allowing students to practice what was taught and develop their skills and memory. I started tutoring in 2020, so I have over 5 years of experience. I am best suited for children preparing for the 11+ (Maths and English), GCSE and A-level English.
