Qualified teacher for GCSE and A-level Chemistry, over 10 years teaching experience

I am a Chemistry and Maths teacher with over 10 years of experience. I have a PhD in Chemistry and became a teacher when I realised how much I enjoyed mentoring students. I'm passionate about teaching and helping students reach their personal goals. I have taught Chemistry for over ten years, with experience teaching key stage 3, GCSE and A-level. I have tutored Chemistry for 14 years and have good results increasing confidence and boosting grades. It's important to me that I get to know the student well to truly understand their strengths and weaknesses, and give advice not just about specific knowledge but also about study techniques to get the best for each student. I work by asking lots of questions and targeting specific exam technique as well as general knowledge and understanding. I give homework between sessions, which increases the amount of practice done as well as helping you find out what your questions are before our sessions, to enhance our time together. I have a walking impairment and due to this disability I only tutor from my home.
