Academic tutor with 2 years of experience providing academic support to people of all ages

I graduated with first-class honours in BSc Financial Economics. I have 2 years of experience as a mathematic teacher as well as an academic tutor, tutoring children in a range of subjects, including Math, English, Mandarin, and Science. I am confident that my proficiency in both English and Chinese will allow me to excel in this role. As a mathematic teacher, I helped children consider complex questions through logical reasoning and inference to enhance their problem-solving abilities. I encouraged active participation by creating fun and engaging lessons to make sure that my students enjoyed learning and understood the concepts at the same time. To ensure that my students understand complex concepts, I convey them in a clear and understandable manner by using different techniques, such as analogies and tools.  In addition, I also have experience as an academic tutor, providing personalised academic support to a range of students from different backgrounds in subjects such as English, Chinese (Mandarin), mathematics, and science. Through this experience, I have strengthened my ability to tailor my teaching methods to meet the unique learning styles and needs of each student. I also work collaboratively with parents to document the progress of my students. I have successfully improved my students' overall grade from C to B following the national primary education grading system.  My passion for education and my dedication to nurturing the intellectual development of students have been central to my success as an educator. I would welcome the opportunity to further discuss how my skills and experiences align with the needs of you or your children. I look forward to the possibility of contributing to the continued success of your students.
