High-performance STEM tutoring and mentoring by Masters Engineering Graduate currently working in major tech company

Hi, I’m a passionate STEM tutor with over 5 years of private tutoring experience, supporting secondary school and sixth form students to achieve top grades and long-term academic confidence. I hold a First-Class Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Sheffield and achieved straight A*s at A-Level. Alongside tutoring, I work professionally as a Solutions Engineer in Big Tech. This means I don’t just teach theory — I help students understand how their subjects apply to the real world. What Makes My Tutoring Different? My lessons go far beyond homework help or passive exam prep. I specialise in transforming the way students approach: •Examinations – Proven strategies for mastering exam technique, time management, and high-mark answers •Problem-Solving – Developing structured thinking skills that work across Maths, Physics, and wider STEM subjects •Confidence & Independence – Teaching students how to learn effectively, not just what to memorise I use a wide range of teaching approaches tailored to each student’s learning style, making lessons engaging, challenging, and genuinely valuable. I also provide guidance on: •University applications (including STEM degrees) •Career planning in engineering and technology •Building a competitive academic profile •Long-term goal setting and personal development My aim is not just to help students achieve top grades, but to equip them with the mindset and skills needed for success at university and beyond. If you’re looking for a tutor who combines academic excellence, real-world experience, and a strategic approach to learning — I’d be delighted to help.
