Burcu is an experienced Biology and Science teacher, curriculum designer and tutor. She graduated from METU, a very reputable university in Turkey, and did her master's degree at Monash University. She is experienced in international programs and also experienced in teaching SEN students. (especially gifted, ADHD and Asperger Syndrome) She has worked as a Science and Biology teacher, Head of Department, Assistant Principal and Principal at high schools, Country Coordinator for a web-based project portal, and Project coordinator for various projects sponsored by the US embassy, Adobe, and the States Department. She is leading professional learning communities in UBD, Differentiated Instruction, Positive School Climate, Individualised Education Program, Enrichment for the Gifted, International Projects and International mindedness, STEM applications, IB requirements, ATL, Peer tutoring, and Coaching, etc. She strongly believes that the students should learn 21st Century Skills in school. The best way to teach is to integrate these skills into the curriculum and engage the students in extracurricular activities. She motivates students to engage in both national and international projects. She has experience in IB curriculum (PYP-MYP-DP), Cambridge, Edexcel, (Keystage, IGCSE; A level), AP and aligning them with the national curriculum
