Biology and Science for all ages

Hello, my name is Ajimol Anapparayil Sasi, and I am a passionate and experienced biology teacher with 24 years of teaching expertise. I hold a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Zoology, as well as a Bachelor of Education in Natural Science. Over the years, I have gained extensive knowledge and practical experience in teaching. I’ve earned teaching certifications, including Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK, and I’ve specialized in teaching IGCSE and CBSE curricula. Additionally, I am certified in Exam Administration and Active Learning Assessment from Cambridge, and I have completed courses on safeguarding, ICT in teaching, and classroom management. I’ve had the privilege of working as a secondary biology teacher for the Ministry of Education in the Maldives, where I taught IGCSE Science, Fisheries Science and Biology to different age groups. My students have consistently achieved excellent results, including 100% success in IGCSE O’ Level and A-Level Biology. I’ve also served as a department head and exam coordinator, which gave me valuable leadership experience. I love teaching and enjoy using engaging methods to inspire students. My teaching philosophy centers on uplifting every child. I’m excited to continue growing as an educator and look forward to new opportunities in teaching biology and science.
