I have a BA Hons Degree in Textiles from Manchester Metropolitan University and I've taught Art, Design and Textiles in Schools, FE Colleges and independently since I graduated with a PGCE from the University of Lancashire in 2003. I am very adaptable to different learner’s needs and always strive to help learners to achieve the best possible results, I work with Neurodiverse students and they find it very rewarding working one to one, helping them to develop their ideas and knowledge. I am also a practicing Textile artist and exhibit and sell my work with the group 'Decorum' and in solo exhibitions Nationally, which helps to keep my teaching up to date and provides motivation for the learners. I am a great believer in sharing my knowledge and helping students to achieve the best results.
