English made easy: lessons for all ages and abilities

Hello! Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you... Want to lean a language but don't know where to start? Have been practicing on Duolinguo but don't feel like you're actually getting anywhere? Want to impress someone with a smooth line in a foreign language? Need to pass an exam but nothing seems to make sense? ...then fear not, I can help with all of that and more! Get ready for an adventure in languages with your friendly neighbourhood tutor! Here's what's going to happen during our first lesson: 1. Let's get to know each other! Tell me about yourself: Why do you want to learn? What's the end goal? How do you like to learn? What are your strengths and what would you like to improve? 2. We'll do a little assessment to see what you've got under your belt already and how we can build on that. 3. We will outline a strategy and some long-term and short-term goals so that we can keep track of the progress. 4. Let the learning begin! Time to dive into the subject and find out just how interesting it can be. Now, why should you trust a random person from the internet (me) to teach you? Well, let's see: I have a BA in Modern Languages and Literatures and I'm currently pursuing a MA in Spanish Language Teaching. Additionally, I have completed a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) and an ELE (Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language) course and have been awarded the respective certificates. I've 5+ years of experience with teaching and tutoring in different settings, from informal peer tutoring and 1-on-1 lessons to university lectures and language centre courses. I've worked with different ages, from pre-school to adult learners, and different abilities, from complete beginners to seasoned students. I hope to hear from you and I wish you best of luck with your learning journey!
