A qualified French & Spanish teacher who has taught in independent boarding schools. I have taught from KS1 - A-level

As a qualified French and Spanish teacher, I’ve had the privilege of sharing my passion for language and culture with students from diverse backgrounds. Throughout my career in education, I have had the enriching experience of working in independent day and boarding schools, where I specialized in preparing students for GCSE and A-level examinations. This role allowed me to foster a deep understanding of the curriculum and develop tailored strategies that cater to diverse learning styles, ensuring that each student maximizes their potential. My tenure as the lead for the KS3 and 4 Spanish curriculum was particularly rewarding, as it enabled me to design engaging lesson plans that not only met educational standards but also ignited a passion for language learning among students. I hold a degree in French and Spanish from the University of Nottingham, which laid a solid foundation for my linguistic expertise and teaching approach. As a qualified teacher, I have always prioritized creating a supportive and stimulating environment that encourages students to express themselves confidently in both languages. My goal has always been to inspire a love for languages in my students, equipping them with the skills necessary for their academic and personal growth.
