Dedicated English Tutor | Online KS1 to GCSE Specialist | Building Confidence & Results

Hi! I’m Kanu, an enthusiastic English tutor dedicated to helping students from KS1 through to GCSE (KS4) find their voice and confidence in the subject. English was my favourite subject growing up, and I love passing on that passion to the students I work with. My Approach I believe that every student learns differently. Whether we are mastering phonics and reading at KS1, prepping for Year 6 SATs, or tackling Shakespeare and creative writing for GCSEs, I tailor my lessons to be engaging and stress-free. I focus on: Building Confidence: Creating a safe space to ask questions and make mistakes. Exam Technique: Breaking down GCSE mark schemes so they actually make sense. Personalised Support: Using interests (like books or films) to make grammar and analysis feel less like a chore. Why Choose Me? I aim to make English more than just a school subject - I want my students to feel proud of their progress. I am patient, approachable, and committed to helping your child reach their full potential, whatever their starting point.
