I help children and adults reach an intermediate level while enjoying their progress in chess. I have been playing chess since I was eight, teaching on more than one occasion and got positive feedback. I love this game because I believe it is much more than just a game. I am very passionate about math, too and studied it seriously at a scientific-oriented secondary school. There I also learned Latin very well, which is known to be extremely useful in developing logical thinking. My name is Guido. I am a highly qualified and awarded pianist, composer, researcher, teacher, and a good chess player. Every good chess player who is also a musician knows this: music and chess minds are very similar since both need strategy functions, psychology, mathematical skills and lateral thinking (which, by the way, is the foundation of creativity).
