An English tutor that teaches students of all ages!

With over 3 years in tutoring, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse student ranges, including those in special education and regular education settings. My passion for teaching and commitment to fostering a fun academic growth have allowed me to make a positive impact to many of my previous students. During my time as a tutor in special education, I provided personalised support and adapted teaching techniques to meet the unique learning needs of students with varying challenges. I collaborated closely with teachers and parents to develop IEP’s tailored to each students strengths and challenges. In addition to working in special education, I also served as a tutor in regular education classrooms, looking after both primary and secondary groups. I helped students grasp complex concepts and improve their academic performance. Alongside with tutoring English, I had also taught Art, as that’s where many of my interests lie, incorporating an element of creativity into my English teaching. As an atypical individual with learning disabilities myself, I hadn’t had access to specialised education and found it difficult trying to navigate through a standardised educational system, further fuelling my interest of helping both groups navigate their academic pursuits towards long term success.
