Focus more on the learning process and less on the teaching methods. Find out how your students learn best and apply that method. Perhaps they learn better by being empowered than being lectured or having things explained to them. Kids' attention spans are short. They will lose focus. When they are actually personally involved because the material is meaningful to them, they focus better and learn faster.
