Primary School Tutor - Teaching any subject and ability

Hello! I’m a fully qualified primary school teacher with a strong passion for helping children grow in confidence and achieve their full potential. I currently specialise in Year 5 and Year 6, with a particular focus on SATs preparation, maths, reading, and SPaG, but I have experience teaching across all primary age groups (KS1 and KS2). This means I can adapt lessons to suit any level, whether your child needs to build strong foundations or prepare for important exams. I firmly believe that every child learns differently, and I take the time to understand how each student learns best. I tailor every lesson to suit their individual needs, using a range of engaging and supportive techniques to help them feel confident and motivated. As a tutor, I am kind, patient, and encouraging, and I work hard to create a calm, positive learning environment where children feel safe to ask questions and make mistakes. My aim is not only to improve academic results, but also to build confidence, independence, and a love of learning. I can support with: • SATs preparation (Year 6) • Maths and problem solving • Reading comprehension • SPaG (Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar) • General confidence and study skills I also provide regular feedback to parents so you can see your child’s progress and feel confident in their development. I look forward to helping your child succeed!
