Private GCSE Maths tutor (with STEM expertise )

With a strong academic foundation in Aerospace Engineering (BEng), I bring both advanced subject knowledge and real-world application to my teaching. My background equips me with a deep understanding of mathematics, not only in theory but also in how it underpins science, technology, and engineering. This allows me to break down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps and demonstrate how maths is used in practical, engaging ways. I have several years of experience teaching Maths, Science, Technology, and Engineering to students across different levels, tailoring each lesson to individual learning styles and goals. My approach combines patience with high expectations: I build confidence by reinforcing core skills, while also stretching students to think critically and apply problem-solving techniques. Because of my engineering training, I naturally emphasise logic, accuracy, and methodical thinking, which helps students develop strong exam technique as well as transferable skills useful beyond the classroom. I also link topics to real-world examples—such as aerospace, mechanics, and design—so that students can see the relevance of what they’re learning. Ultimately, my strength lies in making mathematics accessible and enjoyable, while steadily guiding students toward academic progress and exam success.
