Qualified History and Politics teacher and tutor with over a decade of experience

We found Joanne through this platform while looking for a GCSE History tutor, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. From the very first lesson, Joanne was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and accommodating. She explained topics clearly, adapted lessons to suit individual needs, and helped build confidence as well as subject knowledge. One thing that really stood out was the effort she put in outside of the lessons. After every session, she emailed helpful revision resources, which were invaluable for reinforcing what had been covered and made revision much more structured and effective. Thanks to Joanne's support and encouragement over the past few months, the GCSE exam period felt much less overwhelming. We are extremely grateful for all the time, effort, and dedication she invested. We would highly recommend Joanne to anyone looking for a professional, supportive, and genuinely excellent History tutor.
