Advert description
I am a university lecturer with a PhD and extensive experience teaching and supporting students in psychology, nursing and the health sciences. My teaching focuses on helping students develop a strong understanding of clinical knowledge, evidence-based practice, research methods, academic writing, and critical appraisal. I am passionate about making complex topics easier to understand by tailoring my teaching style to each student’s individual learning needs and building their confidence alongside their knowledge.
I have experience supporting students at a range of academic levels, from those preparing for assessments to those completing dissertations and research projects. My approach is patient, encouraging, and structured, ensuring that every session is focused on the student’s goals. Whether you need help understanding difficult concepts, improving academic writing, preparing for exams, or developing critical thinking skills, I aim to provide practical guidance that leads to lasting improvement.
I believe that learning should be engaging, supportive, and personalised. I take pride in creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing the skills they need to succeed. My goal is not only to help students achieve better grades but also to increase their confidence and independence as learners.
