Alongside my academic background, I also hold an Education and Training Level III certificate, equipping me with the skills to deliver engaging and effective lessons. Originally from Leicestershire, I moved to Scotland in 2016 and have since enjoyed bringing my love for English to students at various levels, from KS3 and GCSE to A-Level, Nat5, and Highers. My experience includes two terms with the AimHigher programme, where I supported secondary school students in the North West, fostering confidence and skill in English. My teaching approach is patient, approachable, and tailored to each individual’s needs, ensuring that lessons move at a pace that suits you. I thoroughly enjoy helping students deconstruct and analyse texts, developing their own understanding and insights along the way.
