Friendly, experienced tutor of English (SQA Specialist)
Advert description
I'm Rachel, an English and French tutor from Glasgow. I graduated in 2021 with a First Class Honours degree in Linguistics from The University of Edinburgh and am now a PhD researcher at The University of Strathclyde.
I am a specialist in the SQA exam system for English and French, and have a good grasp of what markers are looking for across various exam boards.
I work hard with my pupils and their parents to identify the areas they would like to improve on. I have good relationships with the families I work with and see this as a real benefit my tuition. Lessons are structured yet flexible to pupil needs. Pupils and parents appreciate the feedback I provide after lessons, which I ensure is thorough, clear and constructive.
