Experienced STEM Tutor helping students excel in Maths, Engineering and Problem-Solving

Hi! I’m Patricia, a First-Class Honours graduate in Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering and currently pursuing an MSc in Robotics and AI at the University of Glasgow. I have several years of tutoring experience and specialise in Mathematics (from GCSE to undergraduate level) and general STEM subjects. My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs — whether you’re aiming to strengthen fundamentals, tackle challenging concepts or prepare for exams. I use a clear, step-by-step approach, incorporating visual aids, practical examples and interactive problem-solving. I also employ a “learning by teaching” approach: after explaining a concept, I encourage students to teach it back to me. This technique helps solidify understanding, build confidence and makes learning engaging and effective. Whether you’re struggling with algebra, calculus, mechanics or want to improve your problem-solving skills, I can help you achieve your goals in a supportive and encouraging environment.
