Business owner and MBA student with 15 yrs business experience

I am a failed student, who HATED school with every bit of my being! I hated school! I left school feeling I was stupid! I was told by teachers I would make nothing of my life! I believed this until I joined the military and was shown HOW to learn.... I never looked back. As a result I have done the following: I flew helicopters in the Air Force I completed Top Gun school (I was definitely cooler than Maverick, just saying!) I was an Electronic Warfare Officer I was an Air Combat tactics Instructor I Was a Survival Instructor I received an award in Queen Elizabeths New Years Honors I have 2 businesses I have a Masters Degree in International Relations I am studying for an MBA. So what changed? Simple, I had a few key people who believed in me and helped me to find MY learning style. As a result, I now LOOOOOVE learning! I love helping children to achieve their fullest potential in a fun way that helps them understand the WHY for things i.e. Teach them HOW to think, not WHAT to think. This means children are able to objectively problem solve on their own once they understand the concepts and HOW to learn new things. I was that child. I have been there. I felt useless. I felt a failure. I felt my life was ruined. It is now my mission to devote some of my time to ensure no other child has to go through school feeling like I did. I believe in you. I will help you. We will win as a team.
