All-level Biology Tutoring (GCSE, A-Level, IB and University Students)

Hey, my name is Artur! I graduated top of my cohort with a First Class Honours BSc in Cell and Molecular Biology from Heriot-Watt University, and was awarded the Royal Society of Biology Prize and the Watt Club Medal for academic excellence. I'm now starting an MSc in Stem Cell Engineering for Regenerative Medicine at the University of Glasgow, and I was awarded a prestigious scholarship to do my postgrad studies. Alongside four years of hands-on research experience in molecular biology and genetics, I've developed strong teaching and communication skills. I've founded and led a university society, delivered presentations to students from undergraduates to PhD and professors, and I regularly explained complex scientific concepts to non-specialist audiences. > Why students choose me < • I teach Biology as a connected story, not a list of facts; walking through processes in the order they actually happen so everything links up • I use analogies to make abstract, molecular-level concepts easy to visualise • I teach on a whiteboard, building diagrams and flowcharts live so you watch concepts form step by step • Big topics are broken into manageable chunks, with understanding checked at every stage • Every lesson ties back to exam-relevant or real-world examples > How I can help < I can help with GCSE, A-Level, International Baccalaureate (having completed the IB myself), or any undergraduate-level Biology, focusing on building real understanding rather than just memorisation. Happy to tailor sessions around exam prep, coursework, or general confidence-building in the subject! I focus on breaking things down clearly and connecting them back to the bigger picture, rather than teaching topics in isolation. I'm patient, adaptable to different learning styles, and happy to work around your schedule. Message me and we can set up a quick first session to see if it's the right fit!
