A student who understands your struggles, and genuinely wants to help you stay afloat

I can adjust my lessons to suit the way you learn best. Every student is different, and I believe tutoring works best when lessons are personalised rather than teaching everyone in the same way. Before we’ll begin, I’d like to understand what you find hardest and what you feel most confident in, so we can focus on the areas that will help you improve the most. My lessons are going to be one-to-one and structured, but also relaxed and supportive. Lessons will usually involve going through questions together, breaking them down step by step, and practising exam-style questions at a comfortable pace. I always encourage students to ask questions and take their time, as building confidence is just as important as learning the content. I will go through exam questions and materials with you, but I’m more interested in making sure that you are able to cope As a sixth form student myself, I understand how stressful tests can feel, especially at such a formative age. I aim to create a calm, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them. I will be patient, approachable, and genuinely want my students to succeed. My goal is to help you feel more confident in your abilities and better prepared for your exams. I also aim to make lessons engaging and enjoyable, using clear explanations and simple examples. Progress is reviewed regularly so we can see improvement over time. Parents are welcome to ask questions, and I’m happy to discuss goals or adjust lessons as needed.
