Online teaching with a difference - my students learn to think critically about their Maths, to think 'outside the box' and to plan their way through problem solving questions at GCSE and A Level. The skills I learned whilst training in Mind Mapping and memory with Tony Buzan are incorporated seamlessly into my lessons. My online system creates a white board effect on the student's screen, allowing me to write normally without digital paper nor stylus pen. I work with home schooled and full time students, and those with Special Educational Needs (I hold a Diploma in this). I can also offer Functional Skills Maths at all levels and the Maths necessary for aptitude tests e.g. teacher training, pilot selection, etc.. As a senior examiner for both GCSE and A Level Maths, I am able to thoroughly prepare my students for their examinations; in particular, making them full aware of what they need to show for each mark available in an exam question. I have an extensive library of past and practice papers for all exam boards and these are emailed free to my students as part of the service provided. The rate per hour shown on this page is for Basic mathematics. A higher fee is charged for GCSE and A Level Maths.
