I am a fully qualified teacher with over 12 years of experience in teaching and tutoring, including 4 years as an AQA A-level Economics examiner. I specialise in A-level Economics and Business Studies, having also prepared students for Oxbridge entry and supported learners with various SEND needs. I cover a wide range of exam boards, including AQA, Edexcel, OCR, EDUQAS, WJEC, CIE, International Edexcel, IB, Pre-U, and SEB. My extensive experience with domestic and international syllabuses allows me to adapt my teaching to each student's unique needs. In my online sessions, which have exceeded 4,000 hours, I utilise resources like model paragraphs and diagrams to enhance understanding. I create a comfortable learning environment where students are encouraged to ask questions, fostering deeper comprehension and confidence in their abilities. My lessons focus on the specific requirements of the exams to ensure that students are well-prepared. I have contributed to academic resources, having written 195 questions for a Cambridge University Press iGCSE Economics textbook. As a father of four and a dedicated full-time private tutor with enhanced DBS clearance, I have a proven track record of helping students achieve or exceed their target grades, making learning enjoyable and effective. With high-speed fibre broadband, I ensure an excellent online tutoring experience.
