University of Edinburgh Maths Tutor for GCSE, National 5, Higher and A Level Success

I am an experienced Mathematics tutor with over five years of tutoring experience, specialising in GCSE, National 5, A Level, and Higher Mathematics. Currently studying Economics at the The University of Edinburgh, I combine strong academic knowledge with a clear and supportive teaching style to help students improve both their confidence and results. Having achieved three A* grades at A Level, I understand the demands of high-level Mathematics study and the importance of effective exam technique. My lessons are carefully structured to develop strong conceptual understanding, problem-solving ability, and confidence when tackling exam-style questions. Every lesson is tailored to the individual student’s needs and goals. Whether students require support with core topics, targeted exam preparation, or extension work to achieve top grades, I adapt my teaching to suit their learning style and pace. I aim to create a positive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making steady progress. Regular feedback and practice with past paper questions help students build confidence and achieve measurable improvement. All lessons are delivered online via Microsoft Teams.
