Executive Functions Skills Coach Helping People Of All Ages Develop Key Skills

My son exceeded his expectations and gained an A in his English thanks to Naomi. He really enjoyed her online tutorials was quite happy to do them and said she’d helped more than any other teacher so many thanks, Naomi.

We had such a wonderful experience with Naomi. Not only was she a kind and patient tutor, her hard work helped my son (who was failing Nat5 English) to attain an A! She also helped him pass his RMPS exam. We are all so grateful for Naomi's help and and expertise.

Naomi was recommended to us by one of my colleagues, and we would certainly recommend unreservedly her ourselves! Our son enjoyed and benefitted hugely from her expert guidance, and ended up with an A in Higher English, a result which had seemed highly unlikely at the time of prelims!

Pretty consistent with the pace The help that’s specifically requested can be provided Nice comforting atmosphere Overall a helpful and informative tutor

We were struggeling to know how to improve ours son’s Higher performance which was borderline A. Following a review of his essays Naomi had some great insights and suggestions of areas for improvement. With an overall 2024 Scottish Higher English mark of 88% and one paper at 100% he ended up with an outstanding result.

My child enjoyed having Naomi as a tutor for Higher English. The sessions could be either face-to-face or online, whatever worked for us. One of the texts chosen for study by the teacher was not well known, but Naomi purchased it and familiarised herself with it providing helpful advice and insights.

We have used Naomi for two years through Nat 5 and Higher English. She really helped my son achieve A pass in both levels, something he probably would not have achieved without her input. She has a great passion for her subject and this is reflected in her lessons. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Naomi.

Naomi is a very patient and calm tutor. She has helped my daughter achieve an A in her Nat 5 exams. When I mentioned where my daughter was struggling, Naomi addressed it. I absolutely recommend her

Naomi had been a great mentor and her effective guidance, which played a key role in my son's achieving a good grade in his English exam. The personalized support and clear explanations on how to approach towards RUAE and essay writing significantly contributed to his success.

Naomi is a fantastic tutor. She helped my son gain his confidence with English and he went from a C/D to achieving an A at both National 5 and Higher English!

Naomi is an experienced and patient tutor, who helped my 2 sons with English Higher. She customised what they needed based upon their individual situation, so for one of them she focused on grammar and essay construction, and with the other they did a lot of work on exam practice and planning. Timing was flexible and we had the option of in-person or Zoom. Both boys achieved one grade better than they had been predicted at prelim which I am sure was due in a large part to Naomi’s support. Definitely recommend.

Naomi tutored my three daughters for Higher English. Naomi instilled an interest in the novels, plays and poems they were studying, helped with the development of their essay writing skills and ensured they were well prepared for the exam by making them familiar with the exam requirements and practicing effective approaches to dealing with these. All three were awarded an A at Higher English. Naomi has a warm, kind and patient personality and the girls all enjoyed the positive learning experience she provided.

Throughout my experience of higher and advanced higher English, Naomi’s sessions never failed to reassure any problems I had encountered during the course. Naomi was always very helpful, thoughtful, patient, and with her guidance I was able to achieve an A grade in both levels.

Naomi tutored my daughter to assist her with her Nat 5 English exam. She was an excellent tutor who was very patient with my daughter and great at explaining what was required to tackle the exam. She has a very gentle manner. I would highly recommend her. My daughter achieved an A at Band 1.

Thanks to Naomi’s efforts and guidance my son managed to pass his French Nat 5 having only an taken the subject up in S4! There’s no way he could have managed it without her. We can’t recommend her highly enough.

Naomi was fantastic for Higher english tutoring. She helped our daughter enormously with the set texts and RUAE, and it was wonderful hearing her confidence and interest in english increase. I highly recommend Naomi; a wonderful tutor and a lovely person.

She is always very patient and kind and was good at explaining things in detail and breaking areas down so I could understand.

I can't recommend Naomi highly enough! She is so knowledgeable, patient and kind. My daughter always looked forward to her sessions and really grew in confidence over the year.

Naomi has a natural way with teenagers, she knows how to relate to them to enable their understanding. She breaks things down in a way to enhance their confidence and to cement their learning. Naomi can work well with teenagers who have dyslexia and adhd. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Naomi!!! She will not disappoint.

Both my daughters have found Naomi to be extremely engaging and she has made them feel relaxed and comfortable right from the first lesson. She has helped us with Nat 5 and Advanced Higher English and goes above and beyond to make sure they know exactly what to carry on with after each lesson, giving them the confidence to work by themselves and complete assignments. She has helped us out at very short notice and responds to any last minute questions promptly. I would definately recommend Naomi to any struggling students requiring some extra help.

I came to Naomi for help with ADVH English as I had decided to pick it up over half way through the course. I had a lot to catch up because of this so Naomi helped me plan my essays, talked me through multiple practice papers, proof read and edited my essays and helped me improve my English skills overall massively. Despite picking the course up so late, I managed to achieve a B which I definitely wouldn’t have got if it wasn’t for her help, I would 100% recommend Naomi :)
