English Tutor providing lessons to people of all ages

I am a fully qualified primary teacher with a degree in English Language and I am a semi-professional writer. I have excellent interpersonal skills and am approachable, friendly and caring. I work with a varied range of people from children and colleagues to parents and members of the wider school community. I am organised, helpful and motivated to improve the quality and value of people’s lives. I plan, prepare and deliver instructional and fun activities that facilitate active learning, where possible, taking into account various learning styles, learner preferences and ASN. I establish and communicate clear objectives for activities while allowing and supporting children and adults to be flexible in their learning approach by differentiating activities or indeed providing encouragement, alternative methods and tools or ideas for how best to achieve goals. My lessons will be tailored to suit the needs of the learner and will ensure that the learner achieves their goal, whatever that may be.
